Christine Anne patten (previously Murray, 1st marriage and Colla, maiden name) was my dear
Mother,also mother to my two sisters Charlotte and Emma and brother Wes, Sister to Pat,Jim and Angel
Bobby,Daughter to George & Angel Violet, Aunt to Sarah and Grandmother to Ellie, Paige, Charlie,
Ruby, Rio, Angel Olivia, Jayden, Seren, Amy, Charlotte & Johnny Patten and wife to Bob and Angel
John. She was known by everyone as a funny, witty and understanding person, she was very
intelligent. Sadly through all this, she was an extremely sad person deep down inside, which in the
end bought her to leaving us so early in life. She meant everything to me, she was my Mother, god
bless her..
She sadly suffered from alcoholism for the last 20 years of her life, which was her way of dealing
with her sadness inside. Sadly her Husband John passed away in June 2006 and she felt she had lost
her soulmate. She had an accident at home and was taken to hospital where they operated on her hip
and she seemed to be fine and making a recovery and then suddenly overnight she took a down turn. I
was called in the early hours of the morning and drove up to Milton Keynes from London to be with
her along with my sister Charlotte & step sisters Jaqui & Linda, her condition continued to
deteriorate over the following few hours until we where called in by doctors and advised that she
should be moved to Intensive Care as she was no longer breathing for herself. When we first visited
her in icu we felt she was already an angel. The last words she said to me and my sister's where
'get me a glass of wine please' and 'give us a light' (for her cigarette) almost like she knew they
where to be her very last in this world... god bless you mum xxxx

Today it is 3 years ago that you passed away mummy, I miss you sooo much and wish you were here with us. I think of what a funny and crazy woman you were and prey that you are around me my sisters and wes.
Love you very much mummy and will always do, Ruby and Rio will grow up knowing how amazing you were, i hope you are looking after Olivia too.

3 years today mum, how fast it has gone and i miss you just as much now. I think of you every single day. I know you would have loved all your grandchildren so much and i see so much of you in them. Till we meet again. Lots of love eternally xxxx

mum i have been thinking of you a lot lately. Not a day passes when i dont think of you in some way. Sometimes i come out with one of the silly things you used to say and the girls just find the things i tell them about you hilarious. I know if you are watching down you would be so proud of them, and all your other beautiful grandchildren. Charlie has your eyes. I wish they had got to know you, they all would have loved you and your crazy ways.
